25/11/15: Life is hard, but beautiful. Appreciate.

I am active in social media in order to keep track of the latest news. I was shocked when I received the news of one of our young local actor commit suicide due to unable in answering Add Maths question.Nevertheless, we cannot deny that most or can even say 99% of local parents emphasize one concept. The more 'A' s you get,the clever you are.

Are the 'A's really important? If you are struggling with SPM now, let me shared with my personal experience. I am really busy and almost spend whole day for classes, assignments and tests but right now, I am willing to spend some time to express my thoughts. I hope can spread positive attitude to more people through social media.

If you are worry for your SPM, let me tell you something. I get 8 A's in my SPM 2013. I even get A plus for my moral. If you are happy and think that it's really essential for getting so many A's or even A plus, you are wrong. I am a human. I can admit that I am not really a good student in 'Moral' way. Getting A's in moral doesn't mean that you are really good at Moral. No. I am not really satisfied for my result and I even cried after getting my SPM slip. I get a 'B' for my add maths.

I feel so disappointed at that moment as I really spent a lot of time of revising subjects especially Add Maths.I studied A Levels during my pre u. I get my SPM results after 3 months of studying in college. For the first few days,I am a lil happy and I shared a lot of my high school experience with my college mates. After few days, there's nothing happen. My lecturer said it's really a big gap from high school to pre u. I struggled a lot during A levels and I just get an average results.

Currently I am taking Bachelor of business and commence in one of the top universities.I put a lot of effort and I get good grade for my first econs test.No one even mention about their pre u's results. Who still cares about SPM? What I want to say is, getting good results doesn't mean that you are successful in life. Even I am a slightly above average student,I am not good at other things in life. I want to try to learn cooking. I am not good at socializing. I am not good at managing my self emotion or even stress. I still need to depend on others sometimes. Do you think I am successful? Obviously not. From pre u till now, no one even asked me for my SPM results.

Let you think for a second,if you do not even know how to change a light bulb, what is the use for getting full CGPA? Certificate is important but personal experience is also important as well. For example, A just get 3 for his CGPA but he had a lot of working experience.. B gets 4 for his CGPA. Which of them will be employed by the company? Obviously is A right?

There are more students who are excel in their studies, but their personality or attitude suck. They do not respect each other, cunning, too self centered and show off. Do you think it's really good?

For all SPM candidates, if you get straight As in SPM. I congratz you but I will not admire you. Be hardworking and do all the best you can in all the exams. That's it. No need to worry a lot.
There's a lot of things to explore other than academic. Life is unfair. Life is hard but life is beautiful.Appreciate it.

From,
former SPM candidate.
